Residential Trainer (Shreveport area) – We currently have a position open for a full time Residential Trainer working the 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. shift. Residential Trainers ensure the safety and wellbeing of individuals who reside in a residential setting. Primary responsibilities include providing training to residents; transporting residents to appointments; planning and conducting structured activities; and coordinating with the resident’s Case manager concerning resident’s progress, including appropriate changes to the service plan. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED; prior work experience in a program that serves persons with intellectual disabilities preferred; and CMA certification preferred.

Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN (Shreveport/Bossier area) – We are seeking LPN candidates for a new community health service program. This is a full time position. Primary responsibilities include educating, coaching and supporting members to understand disease prevention and achieve good health outcomes; participating in coordination and resolution of medical and non-medical needs; conducting non-clinical general health assessments in order to refer members to appropriate services; conducting non-medical assessments such as home safety, community/environment resources, transportation, employment, etc.; making frequent visits to individual homes and community organizations; and assisting individuals with medication management as needed. Candidates must have a current LPN license in Louisiana, and at least two years of experience working in community health, social work/services, and community advocacy/outreach.

Program Assistant (Bossier City) – We are accepting resumes for a part time Program Assistant in the after-school program at our Bossier LightHouse location. The mission of this position is to assist the Program Coordinator in providing instructional and recreational activities in the afternoons (Monday – Thursday, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m./8-10 hours per week) for children five to thirteen years of age. Responsibilities include lesson planning; assisting with homework; assisting with development and organization of daily activities and special events; and assisting with the monitoring of students during participation in the LightHouse program.

Child & Adolescent Mental Health Professionals (Caddo and Desoto Parishes) – We are seeking to fill Mental Health Professional positions working in Caddo and Desoto Parish. Primary responsibilities of this position include providing supportive counseling, individual intervention, parent/family intervention and crisis intervention for school aged children with mental health and/or behavioral issues. Additional duties include collecting data for the initial assessment; conducting face-to-face interviews with the recipient and their family, which shall include school and home visits; providing crises intervention support as needed; and ensuring all records are accurately maintained and all invoicing is submitted in a timely manner. Minimum requirements include a master’s degree in counseling or a related field; and a minimum of three years of post-masters experience in the delivery of mental health services specifically to children and adolescents. Prior managed care/rehabilitation experience required.
