Program Assistant (Bossier City) – We are accepting resumes for a part time Program Assistant position in the after-school program at our Bossier LightHouse location. The mission of this position is to assist the Program Coordinator in providing instructional and recreational activities in the afternoons (Monday – Thursday, 3:00-5:00 p.m./8-10 hours per week) for children five to thirteen years of age. Responsibilities include lesson planning; assisting with homework; assisting with development and organization of daily activities and special events; and assisting with the monitoring of students during participation in the LightHouse program.

Child & Adolescent Mental Health Professionals (Desoto and Caddo Parishes) – We are seeking to fill Mental Health Professional positions working in Desoto and Caddo Parish. Primary responsibilities of this position include providing supportive counseling, individual intervention, parent/family intervention and crisis intervention for school aged children with mental health and/or behavioral issues. Additional duties include collecting data for the initial assessment; conducting face-to-face interviews with the recipient and their family, which shall include school and home visits; providing crises intervention support as needed; and ensuring all records are accurately maintained and all invoicing is submitted in a timely manner. Minimum requirements include a master’s degree in counseling or a related field; and a minimum of three years of post-masters experience in the delivery of mental health services specifically to children and adolescents. Prior managed care/rehabilitation experience required.

Program Assistant (Shreveport area) – We are currently accepting resumes for part time Program Assistant positions for our Travis Street LightHouse after-school program. Program Assistants work with the Program Coordinator to provide instructional and recreational activities for program participants five to thirteen years of age. Some transportation utilizing an agency vehicle may be required, as well. Summer working hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday, and school year hours will be from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday. Candidates must pass a background check; have a valid Louisiana driver’s license; and a good driving record. Prior experience working with youth is preferred.

Clinical Supervisor and Mental Health Professional Positions – We are currently expanding the adult Behavioral Health program in our Central Louisiana division and are seeking to fill the following full time Clinical Supervisor and Mental Health Professional positions.
Clinical Supervisor (Alexandria area) – The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for quality service delivery and positive outcomes in the Behavioral Health Program. Primary responsibilities include providing clinical supervision to direct service staff; observing, monitoring, and supporting program staff in the assessment of consumer needs; assisting in diagnosing persons served; and assuring that high quality treatment plans are developed and high quality services are provided. Also, conducting periodic case reviews to evaluate adequate documentation of case files and service provision. Requirements include a masters degree in social services field and a License to practice independently; knowledge of mental health rehabilitation preferred; and experience working with individuals with mental health concerns and/or ability to learn strengths and functional limitations.
Mental Health Professional (Alexandria area) – The primary responsibility of this position is to provide intensive, community based treatment for the persistent mentally ill adult population.
