For many of our adults on a fixed income, over-the-counter drugs can be out of reach, which means even a cold could quickly get out of hand. Your gift of $80 can help someone avoid a debilitating illness.

Children go hungry every night in North Louisiana. Your gift of $100 will provide a meal or snack for two weeks to a child that might not get an evening meal.

Infants in our various programs go through many diapers. Your gift of $30 will alleviate some financial pressures for their moms and provide care for many babies.

Young women and veterans often arrive at our housing programs with nothing more than a duffel bag. Your gift of $30 will provide them with shampoo, toothpaste and other essentials to feel at home.

Transportation is an ongoing need for many people we serve. Your gift of $250 will provide a SporTran bus pass for one month for six people going to work or school.

Finding a job is one thing. But having the appropriate clothes can make the difference in staying employed. Your gift of $80 can help buy uniforms, work boots or interview clothes to help a client find a job and independence.

School is tough when you don't have pens, paper, uniforms and other supplies. Your gift of $80 can send a child to school with all the tools he or she needs to focus on learning.

War changes people. Many veterans have trouble adjusting to life in the civilian world, but they are finding a new path at our Veterans Home. Your gift of $500 provides two weeks of food and shelter for one veteran moving toward independence.

Through our programs for people with mental illness, adults learn to cope with their diagnosis and avoid hospitalization. Your gift will provide craft supplies to help with their therapy.

Our clients with developmental disabilities love to work in their garden. Your gift of $100 could provide the next crop of healthy vegetables along with a sense of accomplishment.

The Adult Day Health Care Center allows seniors to stay at home longer by providing a safe place to stay while their caregivers are at work. A gift of $250 pays for a week of care.

Statistics say our LightHouse kids are at risk of academic failure. We see only bright futures for them. Your gift of $1000 pays for one child to experience a year of opportunity.
