If you are a woman facing an unplanned pregnancy, you want to do what’s best for your baby … and for you. We’re here to help. Our caring and experienced staff are right here in North Louisiana and offer a wide range of confidential services to support you through a difficult time.
For 75 years, Volunteers of America has provided local, face-to-face assistance for women facing unplanned pregnancy. We can walk you through your pregnancy from the earliest months, make sure you have access to the resources you need, and help you consider your options.
Pregnancy testing
Free, confidential pregnancy testing. With this official, medical test, we can also help you apply for Medicaid and WIC so you and your baby receive the care you need.
Pregnancy Counseling
Free, personal and confidential counseling is available at our offices in Alexandria. We can connect you with medical resources and help you explore the positive choices that are open to you: parenting the child as a single mother, parenting with your existing family, co-parenting with the father, in a marriage partnership with the father, placement with another family member, or adoption by the couple you choose to raise your child.
Baby Boutique
Through pregnancy support classes, parents can earn Baby Bucks to spend at our well-stocked Baby Boutique on diapers, clothes and other necessities.
